Properties:
Auburn amorphorus powder with metallic luster; Relative density at 2. 34, melting point at 590; Soluble in phosphorus tribromide, but insoluble in water or carbon disulphide, liable to burn under chlorine atmosphere, nontoxic, in odorous, without phosphoric light in darkness.
Uses:
Used to make matches, fireworks, chemical agent, phosphoric alloy, and as a raw material for manufacturing organic phosphorus fertilizers, and used in metallurgical industry and organic synthesis as well.
